Wakizashi
The Japanese Wakizashi was a sword traditionally worn by Samurai. The Wakizashi blade length could be anywhere between 30 and 60 cm and was most often worn in conjunction with a Katana, which would demonstrate that the wearer was of the Samurai class. The Wakizashi was not necessarily just a smaller version of the Katana, the forging method and style could differ.
All of our Wakizashi for sale in our UK store are made with traditional Japanese forging techniques as the basis.
Every sword is hand forged and polished using a 12 step process to ensure an exceptional finished and a fault free full tang blade.
