Blade: The blade of this sword is hand forged and finished with 12 stages of polishing and sharpening. The steel used is high quality carbon steel, which is very pure, and keeps its edge very well.

The sword itself is excellent, however, I had to take away one star because I requested a blunt blade when I ordered, but the tip of the blade was made sharp; sharp enough to stab myself or someone despite that request. Thankfully, I was able to successfully blunt the tip of the sword to a safe condition, which is why it’s at least 4 stars and not down to 3.

While we did make the sword blunt as requested, given that it is a blade, it will still have a bit of an edge hence why we only sell swords to over 18 years of age for legal and safety reasons. I love it and the only bad thing is the wood shavings thatbthe sword creates in the sheath.

Happy to hear that you like your sword. I see that you are having an issue with the sheath but that can be fixed. If you can add a bit of sawdust to the inside of the sheath, this will allow for the blade to glide and will get rid of the shavings without compromising the blade.
