What "Folded" Means
Our folded steel swords have been hammered flat, folded, and forge welded to themselves up to 16 times. As each fold doubles the number of layers present in the steel, this adds up to tens of thousands of layers that combine to make a pleasing aesthetic look that many collectors fancy.
