Absolutely lovely looking peice was alot heavier than i would of thought looks great in my collection only issue is the sheath slips off often if held hilt upwards which can be a pain but other than that great will be buying another sword in the future

Though the product that arrived is more than suitable, BladesPro fail to adequately state on their website what products will require import and those that will not. Though they state to be UK based, thus leading customers to believe products will be based in the UK, many are shipped from China. This is not clearly stated. The shipping time - due to it being from China, - is long and stressful.

Just to clarify on the delivery and shipping - we do try to make this clear on our site.
On our About Us, Shipping, Terms And Conditions and FAQ pages, we do note up-front that, as a company we are based in the UK, but many of the world's best sword forges are based in Asia, where they've been manufacturing quality swords for hundreds of years, so many of our products (as you've experienced) do come from overseas into the UK.
Shipping timeframes and customs information (including the process and cost estimates) is on our shipping page, every product page, About Us page, FAQ page, two email confirmations, and shipping confirmations.
Lastly, we also present the terms and conditions, and customs information, during checkout to try and make it clear. Before ordering, there is a (required) checkbox in the checkout accepting customs charges and our terms and conditions.
That said, we're always looking to improve so will take this on board to see how we can make it clearer in the future.
